Home Is Seattle

After a week of apartment hunting, Elise and I found a great place in Lower Queen Anne. It’s on a quiet street in a historic building, just a few blocks from Kerry Park. I had to take my turn as a tourist, taking cliche photos of Seattle. Right as I was making this frame, a couple walked into the picture and embraced, adding one more element.

Seattle seems very laid-back, and everyone I’ve meet seems very genuine. It’s quite a refreshing change coming from California.
I’m meeting with some talented local photographers this week, and I’m excited to hear their thoughts about photography in Seattle.
