Hello!

I'm Lucas, a wedding photojournalist based in Seattle, Washington. I first picked up a camera when I was just 16, earned a BS in Photojournalism, and spent 6 years covering everything from wildfires to NASCAR all across the country! These days I spend much of my time photographing couples. I specialize in telling stories by capturing candid moments and emotion.

Janet & Dave’s Engagement

I had the pleasure of photographing Janet and Dave on the Tacoma waterfront recently. They were one of the easiest couples that I’ve worked with. From the start they seemed to be in their element and happy to be spending time together. Moments came naturally and I captured some great images. It didn’t hurt that they chose a great day for photography. I’m looking forward to their wedding this summer!
