The thing about candid photography is that it really reflects the feelings and moods of its subjects. Lauren and Dana were a perfect fit for this approach to capturing weddings. “My husband and I searched the GLOBE for a venue for our wedding, but finally decided upon Seattle, where we’d met and spent several years before moving back to the East Coast. However, in the course of our globe trekking, we’d fallen in love with a photographer’s work in New Orleans, so we knew the style we were looking for to really represent us. While searching out photos of our considered venues, I fell over Lucas’ blog on his website and we were hooked!! He did the requisite “staged” photos, but 98% of the shots from our wedding are exactly what we wanted – candid shots of our friends and family being themselves, but caught through the lens of a consummate professional such as Lucas, thus they were elevated to art!” – Lauren
