Lauren, Kristin and I spent an afternoon exploring the beach on Alki for the start of their engagement session. It was so much fun! Lauren and Kristin are one of the most energetic couples I’ve worked with. They are smiling and laughing in just about every image that I captured during the day. After Alki we headed over to Queen Anne for an outfit and scenery change. Queen Anne is one of my favorite neighborhoods to shoot in. I know it well so I had several spots in mind that worked out great. Before the shoot, Lauren mentioned that they would like a cool silhouette shot in gowns to use on their invitations. The new Counter Balance Park in Lower Queen Anne seemed perfect. The park is filled with lights that cycle through bright colors at night. I’m really happy with these images and so excited for their wedding this summer!
