And there are so many! The invitations, favors, cake, flowers, table settings, dress, food and countless other things. All of these things make great photographs that show how beautiful your wedding looked! It’s great to have colorful and fun photographs of all of those things that you put so much work into choosing! But so often the human details are overlooked. It’s those little moments and gestures that can be so telling about what you wedding felt like! Great photography does more than show what something looked like, it shows what something FELT like. I just love this photograph of a bride and her closest friend in prayer just minutes be for she is married. Sometimes, the little things can say volumes!

I’m now a member of the Seattle Wedding Industry Professionals. We’re a small group of wedding professionals, sharing a really cool boutique meeting space and gallery in Green Lake. The great idea came from Cheryl Jones and Sacha Blue, who also happen to be great photographers!

The space is very cozy and features quite a few amenities including a projector where I will be screening images for clients! It’s also a great one stop shop to find many of the vendors you will need for planning the perfect Seattle wedding!

The group is still looking for a few more members, particularly florists, wedding planners, make up artists and other types of wedding professionals. Contact Cheryl through SWIP’s site to fill out an application!
